Arrival Platform Humlet, 2. Gay but Wistful, 3. The Gum-Suckers March  (Due to rehearsal time constraints, the Ensemble is not performing movement 3, Pastoral.) * Encore: Country Gardens

The Chesapeake Wind Ensemble notes that they are very fortunate to have a pianist, an organist, harp, and Staff Bells and many Tuneful Percussion to meet with Percy’s required forces.








 


Congratulations to the National Wind Band of Israel (ages 15–18) for performing its summer 2019 concert in the renowned Jerusalem Theatre, the Henry Crown Concert Hall, under the baton of Samuel Gal Alterovich, conductor. Percy Grainger's compositions and arrangements will be featured by Westchester Symphonic Winds in November of 2021 at the Tarrytown Music Hall. We are grateful for the attention and support of Curt Ebersole, Music Director.

The Percy Grainger Wind Band Festival was scheduled for April 9-10, 2021 in Chicago, Illinois. 

In June, 2020, Percy Grainger was featured by The Sembrich in their virtual series 20/20: Virtual Visionaries.  

On June 13, 2020, Interlochen Public Radio, featured a selection by Percy Grainger, noting Grainger's time as a teacher at Interlochen.
